The SKM Motorsport Team is heading to northwest NSW this weekend to contest the State Dirt Late Model Championship. A series of Heats will be contested at Tamworth Speedway Friday evening March 27 with further Heats and the all important Championship Final at Gunnedah Speedway the following night (March 28). With only a few events left in the 2008/09 season the SKM Motorsport Dirt Late Model Team are keen to put in a good performance as a reward for all the hard work behind the scenes. "It would be great to get up on the podium in the state title, that’s for sure" said Team Principal and Driver Neil Wallace. |

Current Australia one Brad Ludlow has been putting in the hours to get his #1 DiCandilo Steel City machine capable of winning this weekends Australian Late Model Nationals. And to add to the extra work load, he has been preparing a car for Kalgoorlie driver Rick Musarra to race this weekend as well. |

What a night for the East Coast Late Models devotees. On a competitive night Darryl Grimson showed he is more than ready for the National Titles at Kwinana this weekend by taking the feature and a heat win on the night. Importantly, the night saw some shuffling of the leader board with Lyle Dicker and Brian Dunn jumping two spots on some strong consistent performances and Allan Oates also gaining another step on the ladder. Whilst the second heat and second in the feature went to Scott McPherson, the performance of the evening was the pair of seconds to Stewart Jordan. With the State Titles and the SA State Championships still to come this season, it looks like some of our best drivers have managed their season to peak at exactly the right time.
