The pressure will be on the SKM Motorsport Dirt Late Model Team to perform well at Fire Service Plus Nowra Speedway (NSW) Saturday December 19 after the last two race meetings have produced disappointing results.

“Our last two runs at Parramatta didn’t yield the results we were looking for, but the problems were mainly mechanical related so hopefully we have taken the necessary steps to get our season back on track” said Team Principal / Driver Neil Wallace.

“We had j-bar and diff dramas at the first Parramatta show, and followed that up with shock absorber and control arm issues at meeting two. We also had a roller rocker problem at meeting two. Let’s hope that’s all of our mechanical issues out of the way for the rest of the season!”

“The parts to fix the roller rocker problem only arrived in the last 24 hours so it’s been a bit of a rush in order to make the Nowra show. We are fully committed to supporting the Dirt Late Model division though, even if that means long hours and late nights in the workshop” said Wallace.

The SKM Motorsport Team has enjoyed success at Fire Service Plus Nowra Speedway in the past, with the track being the location of the Teams first ever Dirt Late Model Main victory.

“Nowra is a great track to compete at, and the Dirt Late Models always put on a good show there. The locals also get right behind the division” concluded Wallace.

Neil Wallace is currently placed 7^th in the East Coast Late Model Series pointscore.
