When Santa’s on his way to all the good boys and girls on Christmas Eve, Mat 'The Big Gun' Crimmins and the Crimmins Racing team will be on a venture of their own heading to Western Australia for a two week stint in Late Model competiton. This will be Crimmins Racing first shot at the Dirt Late Model Australian Title and with some new equipment a fully loaded PECC Custom built trailer the team has enough gear for Mat to give it a good crack and if all goes well bring the title to South Australia. ‘We will be happy to first make the A main and anything after that is a bonus. Our main aim is to support Late Models and represent SALMA (South Australian Late Model Association) on the big stage of Late Model racing,’ said an enthusiastic Crimmins as the trip draws nearer. On the return from the western swing the Crimmins Team will have a short turn around before heading east to New South Wales to race on the 17th January 2010 and again on the Australia Day long weekend in January for the NSW Gold Cup. ‘On this big adventure I would like to thank all of our sponsors and make a special welcome to two new sponsors. Phil at CBS Building Supplies NSW, & Colin Dolmans at Brown Murray Real Estate WA, the following two new sponsors have come on board for the rest of the season which is a great shot in the arm for our team,’ continued Mat. ‘We would like to publicly thank our crew members Craig, Steve, Lisa & Tammy plus John McKay and Mick Lewis for all their help in making this season possible.
