The KMC Racing Dirt Late Model team return to Fire Service Plus Nowra Speedway (NSW) Saturday January 2 after a solid showing at the same track only two weeks ago. 

“We had a good run at the last meeting, and will be looking to improve even further this Saturday night” said team driver Kevin Stevens.

“Our new suspension setup worked really well on the tacky Nowra track surface and I’m feeling confident that we can run towards the front on a regular basis”. 

“We did have a few fuel surge issues but hopefully we have rectified those problems” Stevens said. 

The KMC Racing #8 Dodge Rayburn started rear of field in each of the Heats and worked slowly forward to claim some solid results. 

“The December 19 Nowra show was a good test to see how we are performing compared to our competition. Although we only finished 5^th in the Main I was pretty happy with that as it was all about getting some laps under our belt and seeing how the changes we have made to the car worked”. 

“I also have to compliment the track preparation crew as it was one of the best surfaces I’ve ever seen at Nowra. If the guys serve up more of the same Saturday night the fans are in for a real treat!” concluded Stevens.
